CustoM 2.0 investing and growing at the time of COVID-19
After Phase 1, Phase 2, and shortly 3, the theme changes little: uncertainty, fears, collapse in demand. Small businesses are called upon to make 2 important and conflicting efforts:
- Maintain employment, reducing the IGC to a minimum
- Support the situations of primary customers who ask for resource cuts or price cuts
Since it is necessary to be ready at the moment of a real recovery, CustoM 2.0 has tried to give space to training while also keeping some R&D initiatives active, such as the ARP project on Augmented Reality and that on magnetic remanence, 2 themes that are considered strategic from a perspective diversification and innovation. Next to them, there is the great Electrification topic with consolidated and living partnerships such as NI and others that are overwhelmingly appearing on the scene of electrical devices and components in the Automotive sector.
Automotive Electrification: the partnership with CalPower
In order to increase the commercial potential and the depth of supply in the field of test and validation systems for Electrification, we are pleased to announce that, during the month of June, the partnership between CustoM 2.0 and the company CalPower Srl was formalized.
CalPower, which recently celebrated its first ten years of activity, specializes in the distribution of innovative solutions for measurement and control, and the partnership was made possible thanks to the cooperation and strong unity of purpose found by their qualified sales team.
The common goal is to attack a rapidly expanding market and provide our customers with complete turnkey systems that express all the expertise and know-how of the two companies.

Magnetic Sensors: new opportunities
As already mentioned in the first issue, CustoM 2.0 has invested and is investing a lot of resources in the Research and Development of new products and solutions in the area of security control through magnetic sensors.
The fruits of these efforts and investments that we want to share at the end of June 2020 are essentially two:
- Il The completion and release of the new FluxGate Sensor capable of intercepting, measuring and acquiring the magnetic remanence value on security bonds. This sensor has been integrated into the instrumentation that is usually offered to our customers.
- The proposal of new quality control solutions with new technologies has allowed the expansion of our customer base in this sector, even outside the Euro area for the verification of foreign currencies.
Thanks to the constant growth of experience in this sector and the professionalism that has always distinguished CustoM 2.0, we hope to be able to achieve even more ambitious results!
